Unfortunately, you’re now trapped inside it.
Escape the Tomb of the Forgotten Pharaoh is a live-hosted, story-driven virtual escape room that transforms your group into a team of treasure-seeking explorers searching through an ancient Egyptian tomb.
Across three distinct chambers, players will uncover clues, identify traps, decipher runes, translate hieroglyphs, solve puzzles, and gradually piece together the knowledge needed to escape.
Every player explores the experience individually on their own device, but escaping the tomb requires constant communication. One explorer may discover a symbol other players missed. Someone else might need to hold out a map to guide others to the light. Another may confidently suggest clicking on the suspicious scorpion PNG everyone insists isn't part of the puzzle.
Sharing information is essential.
Guided throughout the adventure by one of our live hosts, your group will have 60 minutes to explore the tomb, unlock each chamber, uncover its secrets, and hopefully escape with your lives, your dignity, and perhaps a few imaginary ancient treasures intact.
Perfect for team-building, celebrations, friends, and anyone who enjoys puzzles, ancient mysteries, and the occasional dramatic cry of, “WAIT, I FOUND SOMETHING!” that'll inevitably happen. You'll have a blast!
How it works
Escape the Tomb of the Forgotten Pharaoh takes place entirely online within a single hosted meeting. Every participant receives access to the escape room and explores the tomb individually, while remaining connected with the rest of the group through a conference call. The tomb is designed around cooperation, players will constantly need to compare discoveries, share clues, explain strange symbols, and combine information to understand what the tomb is trying to tell them.
During your expedition:
- Explore Three Distinct Chambers: The tomb is divided into three major areas, each containing its own atmosphere, mysteries, and collection of puzzles.
- Search for Clues: Examine the environment carefully for hidden information, suspicious objects, ancient markings, and anything that looks slightly too important to be decorative.
- Identify Ancient Traps: Not everything inside the tomb was designed to welcome visitors. Players will need observation, logic, and teamwork to navigate dangerous obstacles.
- Decode Runes and Symbols: Strange markings and mysterious patterns will gradually reveal how the tomb operates.
- Translate Hieroglyphs: Ancient inscriptions contain vital information, but understanding what they mean may require knowledge gathered elsewhere in the tomb.
- Learn as You Explore: Information about ancient Egypt discovered during the adventure can become part of later puzzles, rewarding players who communicate and pay attention.
- Share Everything: A clue that seems useless to one player might be exactly what another explorer needs.
- Think Differently: The puzzles are intentionally varied, testing observation, logic, deduction, pattern recognition, communication, memory, and general problem-solving.
- Ask Your Host: Your live host guides the adventure, keeps the group moving, provides support when necessary, and watches with great interest as everyone debates whether touching the ancient cursed object is really such a bad idea.
- Escape Before Time Runs Out: You have 60 minutes to make your way through all three chambers and find your out before this tomb becomes yours too.
Our team manages the experience from setup to escape, leaving your group free to focus on solving puzzles, hunting treasure, and making increasingly questionable archaeological decisions.
Run of show
At the beginning of the meeting, our host will welcome your group, introduce the expedition, and prepare everyone for their journey into the Tomb of the Forgotten Pharaoh.
Once the explorers are assembled, the host will explain how the game works, provide access to the escape room, and make sure everyone is ready before the tomb doors close behind you.
Your expedition will include:
- Explorer Briefing: Meet your host, learn how to navigate the experience, and receive your mission.
- Enter the Tomb: Players open the game individually while remaining together on the Zoom call.
- Room One: Your expedition begins with your first collection of puzzles, clues, traps, and ancient mysteries.
- Unlock the Passage: Solve the chamber’s challenges to discover how to proceed deeper into the tomb.
- Room Two: New mechanics and more complex puzzles begin testing how effectively your group shares information.
- Discover the Tomb’s Secrets: Translate symbols, uncover ancient knowledge, and begin understanding what happened within the forgotten pharaoh’s resting place.
- Room Three: The final chamber brings together everything your group has discovered throughout the adventure.
- The Final Escape: Solve the last mysteries, unlock the way out, and escape before the 60-minute expedition comes to an unfortunate archaeological conclusion.
- Expedition Wrap-Up: Your host brings everyone together, celebrates the escape, and gives the group a chance to recover from whatever arguments occurred over the hieroglyph puzzle.
Whether your group escapes with ancient treasure, barely survives the expedition, or spends ten minutes arguing over which bird symbol is which, the goal is the same: work together, solve the tomb, and have a memorable adventure doing it.
